Tea Popsicle Recipe

“Summertime… and the living is easy.” Just kidding, I have a toddler: Life is beautiful chaos. You know what is easy? These tea popsicles! The recipe is also SUPER versatile… so you can make them based on what you have on hand and what best suits your palate.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 to 3 teaspoons of your favorite tea

  • 12 oz (1 ½ cups) of boiled water

  • 1 tablespoon of your favorite sweetener (optional)

  • ¼ cup of your favorite juice or milk (optional)

STEP ONE:

Stir your tea and sweetener into your hot water (I used honey and 3 teaspoons of Olive and Dingo’s Color Changing Tea). Use however much tea you would like based on your preferences. If you are unsure I would go with 2 teaspoons of loose leaf or one tea bag.

STEP TWO:

Let sit for five minutes. Strain out loose leaf or remove the tea bag.

STEP THREE:

Stir in juice or milk. (Lemon juice turned half of mine a magical pinkish purple and they are very refreshing. Coconut cream in the others made creamy and delicious “bantha milk” popsicles.)

STEP FOUR:

Pour into molds and freeze for at least three hours. This will make approximately four popsicles.

STEP FIVE:

Run your popsicle under hot water to release it from its mold. Enjoy!
