Green Tea Tipsy

1 cup hot water

1 Tbsp loose Minty Meadow tea

1 Tbsp honey

1 lime

1/2 cup white rum

Simple and refreshing, Green Tea Tipsy is a great addition to dinner parties or summer weekends in a hammock . With it's naturally green color, it is a perfect showcase for Saint Patrick's day celebrations. We found that it also helps to cleanse the palate and aid digestion when sipped after a rich meal.

Step one: Boil water and let sit for a minute cool. Mix tea and honey into the hot water until honey is dissolved then let steep for ten minutes.

We chose Minty Meadow for this recipe, but we are sure other teas could be excellent. Maybe Summer in Provence or Hawaiian Honeysuckle? We would love to know if you try this recipe with other teas and how it turns out!

Step two: While tea is steeping, juice the lime and prep your two glasses. Fill cups with ice about 3/4 of the way and add half the lime juice (about 1Tbsp) to each. Split the rum between both glasses (you can adjust the quantity to suit your preferences or replace with coconut water for a virgin version).

Step three: After ten minutes strain the sweetened tea into both glasses and stir vigorously.

Step four: Enjoy!
